High-speed train, the upcoming action movie starring Brad pitt and Sandra bullock, has been postponed until the summer of 2022. The film, which was originally due for release in April, has been postponed to July, in the middle of the summer blockbuster season.
High-speed train follows five assassins who all end up on a bullet train and realize that their individual missions are related to each other.
Switching to its new July 15 release date will see High-speed train opening for not much in terms of big movies, while its previous release date would have opened it on the same day as Sonic the hedgehog 2. However, he will find himself competing with Marvel. Thor: love and thunder, which opens the previous week on July 8, and Jordan peele‘s no, which opens the following week on July 22.
Alongside Pitt and Bullock, High-speed train will film a major ensemble cast featuring Joey king (The act), Andrew Koji (Snake-eyes), Brian Tyree Henry (Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse), Zazie Beetz (The harder they areI), Michael shannon (The shape of water), Logan lerman (Charlie’s world), Aaron Taylor Johnson (Nocturnal animals), Hiroyuki Sanada (Mortal combat), Masi oka (Hero), and Benito Antonio MartÃnez Ocasio (aka Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny).
High-speed train comes from the director David Leitch, the director behind action films such as Deadpool 2 and Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw. The film is based on the novel “Maria Beetle” by the Japanese novelist Kotaro Isaka and was adapted for the screen by Zak Olkewicz (Street of Fear: Part Two – 1978).
Leitch is also a producer on the film with Kelly mccormick and Antoine Fuqua, with the executive producers of the film including Ryosuke saegusa, Yuma Terada, Brent O’Connor, and Kat Samick.
