“Knock the Hut” – An adaptation of “The Hut at the End of the World”


I suggested this fact five months ago, but it was confirmed by the author himself that M.Night Shyamalanis to come knock on the booth is a direct adaptation of Paul Tremblayit is “The hut at the end of the world”.

Seven-year-old Wen and his parents, Eric and Andrew, are vacationing in a secluded cabin by a quiet New Hampshire lake. Their nearest neighbors are over two miles in either direction along a rutted dirt road.

“One afternoon, while Wen is catching grasshoppers in the front yard, a stranger unexpectedly appears in the driveway. Leonard is the tallest man Wen has ever seen, but he’s young, friendly, and he seduces her almost instantly. Shyamalan writes, directs and produces the thriller for Universal Pictures.
