His face is paralyzed on one side

During the delivery, Stallone’s mother suffered complications and obstetricians had to pull her son using forceps. However, they were misplaced and caught a nerve that paralyzed the lower left side of his face. This affects his lip, chin, and tongue, causing his characteristic growl and slurred speech.
He was a student in Switzerland
