The five-star Reverie Saigon Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City won the “Best Lobby” award at this year’s “Best of the Best: The World’s Best Hotels” awards.
The awards given by the Australian travel site Traveler was based on the votes of tourism experts who “spent thousands of nights in hotel rooms throughout their travels”.
The traveler said: “The fantastic lobby here is breathtakingly ostentatious, but somehow the hotel pulls it off, Murano glass chandeliers and blue Bolivian marble tiles and all.”
The hotel on Nguyen Hue Boulevard has 286 rooms, suites and residential suites that combine modern design with traditional Italian craftsmanship.
It has a 24 meter long swimming pool decorated with unique tiles on the sixth floor where you can listen to music from an underwater sound system.
The Sofitel Fiji Resort & Spa in Fiji has been voted “best welcome” in the world and The Clan Hotel in Singapore has the “best welcome drink” in the world.
Bensley Collection in Cambodia has the “best hotel room” in the world and L’Oscar in the UK has the “best hotel beds” in the world.
Marriott Mena House in Egypt has the “best view” in the world.
